This site is a small window into that tinkering.
Finnish Teletext, live. Pages are processed straight from the DVB broadcast signal and brought into this service — all of 100–999, either as HTML content or as bitmap images. News, sports, TV and radio listings, electricity prices, subtitles, mosaic graphics, sunrise and sunset. That's all you need. This is a hobby project, not affiliated with YLE.
The Finnish Maastokartta, interactive in vector form. The map is built from the full National Topographic Database (Maastotietokanta) of the Finnish National Land Survey, with MML's own style mostly imitated. Zoom in and the detail ramps up: coastline and place names, roads, buildings, fields, mires, contours etc. The interface lets you partially change which layers are shown. No cookies, no tracking.
